Shipping & Returns
Shipping
All orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.
Please double-check that your shipping information is correct at checkout. Once picked-up and scanned in by our carrier, transit times typically range 2-7 business days depending on shipping method and delivery destination.
You will receive your shipping confirmation email as soon as a label is created for your order, and the tracking status of your shipment may take up to 48 hours once a label has been created. When you receive your order, please inspect it in a timely manner. If you have a problem please read our refund and return policy. Once shipped, an order's tracking information is outside of our control, and as much as we'd like to be there, final delivery is out of our hands.
Local Pickup
If you choose local pickup for your shipping option, we will contact you via email once your order is ready. We will set up a time and place for pick up at that time. Please add brenda@tumpiescandles.com to your contact list. Orders must be picked up within 2 weeks of them being completed. If your order is not picked up by this time, there will be a restock fee of 15% will be charged, and the remainder of your purchase amount will be refunded to you.
Returns
While we make every effort to ensure each of our candles are perfect, we are human. We take pride in our candles and want you to be completely satisfied with your Tumpies candle purchase. If your candle is damaged or not to your expectations, our return policy is outlined below or you can reach us at alison@tumpiescandles.com. Please include your order number in your email. We will make every reasonable effort to ensure our customers are satisfied.
Please contact us at alison@tumpiescandles.com within 5 business days of receiving your product to initiate a return. If 5 business days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return. We do not offer returns due to scent preferences or mistakes in the ordering process for which we are not at fault.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at alison@tumpiescandles.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift credit code will be e-mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
Return Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
